2022 Raffle Prize Winners - SEE BELOW for WHO WON!
There are so many prizes’ dancers, musicians, and vocalists won in 2022. See below if you are a winner. Email denise@irishdancing.com if you have not received communication as to how to redeem your prize by July 15, 2022.
Music Prizes:1) Three $100 cash prizes – Yes, three lucky musicians (or groups) will each win $100.
2022 Winners: Meaghan MacNeil $100, Miriam Troxler $100, Bridget Redmond $1002) Mentorship with Music Star, Katie Grennan – Enjoy two 30-minute sessions or one forty-five-minute session with Katie. The session(s) will take place via zoom at a mutually agreeable time by the end of 2022. Regardless of your instrument, Katie can provide you a vast amount of knowledge about the Trad Music industry from performing at festivals to recording your own album. Use this time to ask your questions on how you can do more with your music! Katie is the current fiddler in the popular Celtic fusion band Gaelic Storm, has recorded a number of solo albums, and is involved in many musical projects, including The Bow Tides & the STEAM Quartet. She is a featured musician on The FEIS Music App and has recently released a series of brand-new recordings.
2022 Winner: Ossian Rogers3) One Future Beat Star – Beat is a subscription-based app which provides users with Irish Dance music which has been designed to suit all dancing organisations. The music library contains music for Grades, Championships, Set Dances and Ceili Dances. One lucky musician will have the chance to join Beat as a future Beat star and to have their music produced at no cost on the app. The future Beat star also receives a free app access and swag from the company!

TWO Cover Star! – One dancer out of those selected for the special award “Most Likely to be a Show Star” and one from "Young Stars of Irish Dancing" will be hand selected by the editorial team at Irish Dancing & Culture Magazine to appear on an upcoming cover! This is a dream of most Irish Dancers. Whose dream came true in 2022? Garet Zagorski of the Kristin Butke School, USA and Sorcha Hogan of the Kilkenny School of Irish Dance, Netherlands!2. One Mentorship with Ciara Sexton – Ciara is one of the most accomplished dancers on the planet and one of the most recognized leading ladies in the Irish Dance World. She is a lecturer at The Irish World Academy in University of Limerick. Since gaining her qualifications for motivational & public speaking, she is currently continuing study for her fifth diploma in Life Coaching, specialising specifically in aiding creative professionals around the globe. Whether you are a 10-year-old beginner or a 20-year-old hopeful World medal holder, Ciara will motivate you to help you achieve your dreams. Spend 30 minutes to an hour with Ciara via ZOOM! 2022 Winner - Harlow Quinn, Houston Academy of Irish Dance3. Three Dancer Spotlights – Dancers ages 9+ three of the top 25% winners will be randomly selected to be featured inside the pages of IDM. Each dancer will have their own individual one- or two-page feature to talk about their life, dance school, and more! See your life story in IDM!
2022 Winners: Julia Smith, Michaela Hinds Academy, Erin Mayo McGough Academy, and Brenda Gant Ardaigh Suas Academy 4. THREE Young Dancer Spotlights –Dancers ages U4-U8– Three dancers will have the chance to appear in an upcoming Little Champs, Big Dreams page. They will each receive approximately ½ page including their photo and information about their dance school and participation in the contest. Dancers will be selected for this honor randomly out of the finalists, regardless of level.

5. One Mentorship with Jason O’Neill – He’s a show star, a Social Media sensation, and a Global Talent Search dance judge! What more could a dancer want that advice from this incredibly talented dancer. One lucky dancer will enjoy two 30 minutes, or an hour long ZOOM meeting with Jason. Ask him his thoughts on your dancing or how he makes his viral videos or what life is like on the big stage! Jason has also been a cover star on Irish Dancing Magazine’s cover. ONE Fusion Dance Fest Online Programme –One lucky dancer will be randomly selected to win a FREE Summer Camp at the 2022 Fusion Dance Fest run by the incredible Fusion Fighters! With their message of ‘Creativity and Inclusion’ they offer a range of projects to include dancers of all ages and levels. Their online presence is incredible with millions of views on some of their creative videos. Their popular summer camp is a “must do” for all Irish Dancers who love to perform!

One Session with LORD OF THE DANCE - One dancer at the Open Prizewinner, Preliminary Champion or Champion level will have a ZOOM session with a current Lord of the Dance STAR to talk all about stage presence. One Mentorship Session with Morgan Bullock – She’s a RIVERDANCE star and a Global Talent Search Judge and one lucky finalist will be randomly selected to have two thirty-minute ZOOM sessions or one 45-minute ZOOM session with Morgan to talk about their life in Irish Dancing, their videos, or any other dance related topic. Morgan’s star skyrocketed to fame after she posted a viral TikTok and since then she has become one of the biggest stars in Irish Dance! Morgan is also a former IDM cover star. Ask her anything about dancing because she is a dancer who worked her way up the ranks and like many dancers is still striving to achieve her dreams. One O'Mara Folding Travel Board Voucher – One dancer will be randomly selected to WIN a FREE 4 * 4 Folding Travel Board by O’Mara Sprung Floors. The world-famous Gardiner Brothers who have appeared on Irish Dancing Magazine’s cover and were Global Talent Search Judges in 2021 have been travelling with their personal portable boards as they've been on tour with Riverdance this season. First in the UK and now in the US, these folding dance floors have allowed them to share the joy of dance everywhere they go. Voucher will cover cost of the travel board, but shipping is additional. One Session with Trinity Irish Dance Company – The TIDC significantly changed the direction and scope of Irish Dance, re-introducing the art form as the phenomenon it is today. Before Riverdance and Lord of the Dance debuted, TIDC was showcasing Irish Dance to audiences in a progressive manner. Now, one lucky dancer ages U13+ will have the chance to ZOOM with one of their leading stars! Ask them about life in the road as the company heads to New York or Japan this year.
